Dr. Mohammad Tanzimuddin Khan

Mohammad Tanzimuddin Khan is a Professor of International Relations at the University of Dhaka and a member of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. He completed his first master’s degree in International Relations at the University of Dhaka, a second master’s in International Political Economy at the University of Warwick, and a PhD in Political Ecology at the University of New England. Known for his academic rigor and civic engagement, Khan has actively spoken against injustice, including defending students during the 2018 quota reform movement. His appointment to the UGC in 2024 reflects his leadership in higher education.
