Prof. Dr. Sreeradha Datta

Dr. Sreeradha Datta is a Professor of International Affairs at O.P. Jindal Global University, where she also serves as Director of the Centre for Analytical Research and Engagement. She is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore, and formerly headed the Neighbourhood Studies Centre at the Vivekananda International Foundation in New Delhi. She has also served as Director of the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata, and held fellowships at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, Government of India. She earned her Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. A leading scholar of South Asian area studies, Datta’s research spans India’s extended neighbourhood, Southeast Asia, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indo-Pacific, with thematic expertise in regionalism, cross-border issues, bilateral relations, and security studies.
