Harindra B. Dassanayake

Harindra B. Dassanayake is a senior researcher, policy analyst, and visiting lecturer based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has served as Director of Research at the Presidential Secretariat (2015–2019) and was a member of the Gramashakthi National Advisory Council. Previously, he was Director of the Department of Official Languages (2012–2015) and Head of Translations and Publications and Research Coordinator at the Colombo Institute for Advanced Study of Society and Culture (2008–2011). He has taught as a visiting lecturer at the Universities of Kelaniya, Colombo, and Peradeniya. Mr. Dassanayake holds a B.A. (Hons) and MSSC in Philosophy from the University of Kelaniya and an M.A. in Development Studies and Public Policy from the Open University of Sri Lanka.
