Dr. Jyoti Rahman

Dr. Joyti Rahman is a policy economist with over 20 years of experience in macro-fiscal forecasting, public finance, economic growth, structural and supply-side issues, and international economics. He is a technical expert with the International Monetary Fund and is undertaking a PhD at the Australian National University. Dr. Rahman has trained public service officials, taught undergraduate economics, and published policy-focused articles on growth and international macroeconomics. He has contributed to flagship IMF, Australian Government, and G20 publications, advised ministers and senior officials, represented Australia internationally, and led institutional capability-building and organisational resilience initiatives.
