Huma Khan (Moderator)

Huma Khan is the Senior Human Rights Adviser at the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Bangladesh. With a background in law from Lucknow University and Columbia University, she has a distinguished career in human rights advocacy. Khan has worked with the UN in various capacities, including in Darfur, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Ukraine. Her expertise spans sexual and gender-based violence, post-conflict reconstruction, and the protection of minorities. In Bangladesh, she has been actively involved in documenting human rights violations, particularly related to enforced disappearances and political unrest.
