Dr. Shafi Md. Mostofa is an Associate Professor in the Department of World Religions and Culture at the University of Dhaka. He holds a PhD in History and Peace Studies from the University of New England, Australia, awarded in 2020. His research interests encompass political Islam, authoritarianism, modern South Asian history and politics, international relations, and the clash of civilizations. Dr. Mostofa has published extensively with leading academic publishers and journals, including Routledge, Springer, Cambridge University Press, and SAGE. He has served as a Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK, and is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the Democracy Institute of Central European University, Hungary. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the University of New England, Australia.
